Are you interested in building with sustainable materials? Would you like to help people build their dream bamboo home? Develop a new business or a career path and discover how rewarding it is to build with organic materials in the introductory Bamboo Living Certified Assembler Training Program!
Gain the valuable skills and experience you’ll need to become a Certified Assembler in this 2-day, hands-on, fully immersive training program.
Upon completion of this program, participants will be prepared to participate in 2 – 3 additional hands-on assemblies (for a total of 150 hours of training) to earn the Assembler Certification. After 150 hours of training, you’ll become a Bamboo Living Certified Assembler and be equipped with the necessary skills to lead a Bamboo Living home build project.
This is a hands-on training course and requires experience with building concepts, tools, and hard work. We encourage diversity, so everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply.
Learn the 3 phases of assembly: Rough, Dry-In, and Trim & Final Finishing. There is no cost for the training. Lunch will be provided on each day of training. Participants must bring their own hand tools – a list will be provided.
Bamboo Living Homes are the first and only code-certified permittable bamboo structures in the world. Since 1995, we have proudly designed and permitted more than 350 bamboo homes in the Hawaiian Islands and other beautiful locations around the world.

Required Materials
Participants are required to bring their own hand tools. A list of the required tools will be provided upon registration.
Airfare & Accommodations
Participants will pay for their own airfare and housing accommodations. Bamboo Living can assist with finding local accommodations for the duration of stay. Nearby hostel options are available for those needing housing accommodations. Please inquire about these options at the time of registration.
